Top-flight fun

Another amusing story from Media Monkey:

Pranksters on satirical Australian TV show The Chaser thought they'd test out airport security in the most "puerile" way they could by taking a leaf out of Bart Simpson's book. So the team from public broadcaster ABC booked two tickets on an internal Virgin Blue flight under the names Mr Al Kyder and Mr Terry Wrist and waited for a tannoy announcement when the two passengers failed to board. Sure enough, a call soon reverberated around Sydney airport apparently for a Mr al-Qaeda and a Mr Terrorist. Those crazy guys! A Virgin Blue spokeswoman wasn't impressed. "We don't think in the current climate, their childish humour is appreciated by anyone," she said. Don't have a cow, man.
